A peep Into The Life of Robin Williams
Robin McLaurin Williams or more commonly Robin Williams was a famous actor from the United States. He was born in 1951. He performed as a comedian with equal élan just like his acting. In fact, he started his career as a standup comedian when he had performed in Los Angeles and San Francisco. His performance had won various accolades including an Academy Award for the Movie Good Will Hunting. He was known for his improvising skills in his acting techniques. He is known to be the pioneer of comedy renaissance in San Francisco.
As stated earlier, Williams started with his career in standup comedy in 1970s. He rose to fame for portraying the character of Mork in a sitcom named Mork & Mindy. He had his debut film named Popeye in 1980. His performance was not only secluded to comedies. He had performed with equal vigor in other film genres as well like drama, physiological thriller, fantasy adventure and many more. He has also performed as a voice artist in an animated fantasy film Alladin.
Williams had won various other awards as well apart from the Academy Award. His other awards include Prime Time Emmy, Golden Globe and Screen Actor Guild along with Grammy Awards during the course of his acting career. Some of his notable films include Dead Poets Society, Jumanji, Mrs. Doubtfire and much more. It was quite sad that this renowned comedian had suffered from acute depression for quite a long time. He finally lost his battle and committed suicide in 2014.
