Fans React To The Death Df Dusty Rhodes

The world of WWE is in shock and is mourning at the moment after news about Rhodes’ death was announced. On June 11th, a statement issued by WWE confirmed earlier reports by TMZ that legendary WWE superstar Virgil Runnels better known by his stage name “Dusty Rhodes” or “American Dream” had passed away. He was 69-years old. 

According to reports by TMZ, medical personnel arrived at Rhodes home on June the 10th and took the unconscious WWE star to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead. He died with his family members and close friends by his sides. TMZ went on further to report that, although its clear what exactly killed him, Rhodes had a nasty fall earlier and he had several challenges with his health before his death. 

Following the announcement of his death WWE fans worldwide took to social media to express their condolences to Rhodes family. 

It was not only the fans who were saddened by the news. Top WWE superstars were also shocked when they had the news about Rhodes death and they too took to social media so as to express their condolences. For instance Gene Okerlund, a legendary WWE interview who legendary, who said that when they had the news about Rhodes death they were “absolutely devastated.” Rhodes, who rose in the WWE ranks back in the 1970s and 80s was a very close friend of Okerlund so we can only imagine how is felling. Other WWE stars who wished Rhodes’ family message of condolence include the WWE CBO Stephanie McMahon, Tripple H, Seth Rollins, a current WWE superstar, Kevin Owens’ also certain and Xavier Woods.
